A note on evaluation

We recognize that not all creators have equal access to growth opportunities due to systemic barriers. While we aren’t able to support every opportunity, each request is reviewed to ensure alignment with our current priorities, media strategy, and our commitment to inclusive and diverse storytelling.

Each request is reviewed case by case, with consideration for content quality, perspective, and alignment with our goals and story pillars.

Support variation

Support from Destination Greater Victoria varies depending on the opportunity, timing, and alignment with our priorities.

While some collaborations may include hosted experiences, others may involve more limited support. This could include:

• Assistance in coordinating elements of your visit
• Select hosted experiences or partner introductions
• Attraction access or passes
• Collaboration opportunities with local businesses

In some cases, we may not be able to provide hosting, but are still happy to stay in touch for future opportunities where there may be stronger alignment.  We prioritize opportunities where there is clear alignment between proposed content, audience, and destination objectives.
