Director, Data Strategy & Insights
Destination Greater Victoria is a dynamic destination marketing organization looking to add to our talented team. With a membership of over 950 businesses, we offer a fast-paced, positive and results-oriented culture. We offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the tourism industry and work collaboratively with a variety of local businesses to drive year-round sustainable growth for Greater Victoria.
Destination Greater Victoria (DGV) is seeking a collaborative professional to help us build stronger internal capability in data management and dashboarding, AI-enabled process improvement, and enterprise risk management. Reporting to the VP Marketing Communications the Director, Data Strategy and Insights will support three developing areas of focus across the organization, the day-to-day management of DGV’s integrated data platform, the development of a consistent enterprise-level approach to AI-enabled process automation, and support for DGV’s enterprise risk management process.
In this role, you will help ensure data is well organized, data sets are clean, and teams are supported in using DGV’s integrated data platform effectively. You will also help build practical and consistent approaches to process mapping, automation, and responsible AI use, including appropriate guardrails and support for teams as this capability develops.
